Gentle hands home support provides a range of non regulated home support services, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional support. If you are a social worker, GP practitioner, or someone wanting to make a referral to us in a professional capacity please contact us on email. Once we receive your referral we will contact you to book a needs assessment to ensure the support we offer is appropriate to meet their needs. 

Once this has been arranged we will arrange to meet with the person in need of support at home, so that we can introduce ourselves and discuss a support plan that works for them. (Excluding personal care & nursing support)

We provide hourly support services tailored to your unique needs, offering personalised support. Our pricing start from as little as £21.50 - £23.00 per hour, based on the level of assistance required.

Additional Travel cost per visit £3. Enjoy simple payment terms, paid bi-weekly in arrears.  

Accepted Payments via invoice: Bank Transfer, cash, Cheque

A £5 cash processing charges will apply to all payments made in cash.

We want to reassure everyone that this isn't a decision we've taken lightly. We don't want to charge customers for paying with cash, but unfortunately the increasing costs of banking and cash handling and our processing time have left us with no choice. 

These charges are being introduced beyond our control, the £5 fee helps us cover the costs we incur that is now charged when processing for the time to process cash payments.

To help you avoid this fee, bank transfer will continue to be completely free, and we're also pleased to announce that you can now pay by chip and PIN debit card, also with no processing charge.

Gentle hands home support is a home support service who are dedicated to providing compassionate and reliable support to seniors, individuals & those with disabilities or in need of help or support in the comfort of their own homes or in the local community. 

Extensively trained to deliver top-quality support tailored to clients' specific requirements.  All staff have full training and induction along with shadow support when new to the service.

All staff are DBS checked and safer recruited.

Our Service

Gentle Hands Home Support provides practical help and friendly companionship to help you stay comfortable and independent at home.

What we do:

- General house cleaning and tidying

- Laundry and ironing

- Shopping and errands

- Meal preparation where you can eat independently

- Social support, conversation, and companionship

- Accompaniment to appointments or local outings

- Light Cleaning & Light Gardening 

- Anything not on the list please ask us 

What we do NOT do

We do not provide regulated activities under the Health and Social Care Act 2008.  

This means we do not provide:

- Personal care: assistance with washing, bathing, dressing, toileting, continence care

- Assistance with eating where the client cannot feed themselves

- Medication administration 

- Nursing care or treatment of disease, disorder, or injury

- Any other activity defined as a “regulated activity” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)

If your needs change to include regulated activities, we will discuss this with you and help connect you with a CQC-registered provider. 

Gentle Hands Home Support Provides non-regulated home support and companionship. we do not provide personal care or other regulated activities. We believe people should be able to access safe, trusted and proportionate support before their needs necessarily require regulated care or can work alongside a regulated care provider.

Our Commitment

We operate in line with UK health & safety law, have full public liability insurance, ensure all staff are DBS-checked and trained for non-regulated support & safer recruited. 

Our goal is to make your home a safer, cleaner, and more pleasant place to be and to support you to access the local community. With the right support at home you can flourish at home. 

Yes, we use a fully digital platform with a family and friends portal. Giving real time updates to you or a loved one. (With consent)
